The story I have written

I was digging through some old photos, when I found these photos I took in New Zealand over 10 years ago now. I was there on a student exchange program over winter and got to travel around the South Island. The first photo was taken on the pass to Milford Sound, the second photo was taken from the Remarkables overlooking Queenstown and the last one is the Dart River.

I miss this little fella! He was our old family dog, Lucas, who passed away about 5 years ago. He used to greet me when I got home from work or school and was always happy to see me, regardless. When things got bad, I would sit in the backyard and talk to him for hours about all my troubles. It felt like he cared.

Cats just aren’t the same. Still love my kitty, though.
